Accountable Home Care is committed to provide excellence in referring licensed home care providers throughout Palm Beach County. Our internal team is constantly monitoring state and local news from various sources including the State of Florida, Department of Health, CDC, and AHCA.
Precautionary Measures During the COVID-19 Pandemic
In order to do our part in being a socially responsible organization, we have been implementing techniques and extra measures to keep our office space clean and limit office visits by appointment only and utilizing video technology such as Skype, FaceTime and Zoom when necessary. In person client assessments will be conducted on a case by case basis depending upon an in-depth phone interview to discuss a client’s care plan.
In complying with Governor DeSantis’ order issued July 7, 2020, we are also doing our part and not frequenting nursing homes and senior living communities. In addition, we have been asking all of our registered caregivers to alert us immediately should they or anyone they live with experience any illnesses, symptoms or unwanted exposure to Covid-19 and working closely with family and patients about limiting exposure. We encourage caregivers to notify patients, families and our office of any health change or condition so we can do our part to help take appropriate measures such as sending a substitute caregiver to provide services for their clients and/or encouraging self-quarantine measures if necessary. Caring for a Client living in an Assisted Living Facility or Nursing Home
