Personal Care Services
If you or a family member is in need of assistance with daily living, a caregiver referred by Accountable Home Care is your solution. Our non medical home care solutions are privately paid for by long term care insurance or out of pocket. Care can be provided in a patient’s home or place of residence such as an assisted living facility, skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, group home or independent living retirement community. There is no long term commitment when you retain Accountable Home Care for services.
Personal Care at Home By a Licensed Caregiver
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) are the two types of caregivers Accountable Home Care offers. A large majority of the caregivers live locally from surrounding cities such as Wellington, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Rivera Beach, North Palm Beach and Jupiter. As a licensed nurse registry, the caregivers are independent contractors. The caregivers work for each patient following care instructions provided for by the patient or family member.

Do the Home Health Aides (HHAs) or certified nursing assistants (CNAs) referred by Accountable Home Care know how to do CPR?
CPR is required for all caregivers referred by Accountable Home Care, Inc. by the State of Florida. Records of CPR training is maintained by our nurse registry. A copy of the caregiver's CPR card (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)(CPR) certification from an instructor or training provider that is approved to provide training by the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, or the Health and Safety Institute stays in the caregiver's file.
Can I get the same caregiver for a morning and evening shift?
Maintaining continuity of care is important for our clients. Commonly known as "split shifts", the morning shift is designed to assist a client with their morning routine. Often referred to as rise and shine service, a four hour minimum is required with each shift. It is rather challenging to staff a client's wish with a split shift, however, it is up to the licensed caregiver to determine if they will accept both morning and evening shift. Evening shifts require a four hour minimum and generally clients request 6pm to 10am.
